Fudge is said to have been invented right here in the United States over 125 years ago. The exact origins are disputed and some accounts even claim that the first batch of fudge was accidentally created by failing to make another type of candy - possibly caramels. Other stories claim that a student at a small women’s college (Vassar) first presented fudge at a simple charity auction. Her chocolate fudge recipe became very popular at the school and soon spread to other universities and eventually into family households. From these humble beginnings back in the late 1800’s, chocolate fudge has gone on to become one of the world’s most popular confections.

Using our own secret recipes, each and very batch of fudge is made from scratch using only real farm fresh butter, heavy cream and our own special combination of flavors that help create the unbelievable wide variety of fudges made right here in our store. We are proud to use only the purest and freshest of ingredients and never mix in additives, preservatives or artificial components.
